The Shed Discovery Box features gardening equipment, farming artefacts and other tools that would have been stored in the garage or garden shed for use around the yard or farm.
Learn how families of yesteryear prepared, cooked and served meals with items from the Kitchen Discovery Box. Some items will be familiar, while others may not be.
Long before the days of washing machines, tumble dryers and electric irons, clothes, sheets and other household linen still needed cleaning, drying and pressing. Items in the Laundry Discovery Box provide an insight into how this may have been done.
All boxes come with Conversation Cards that ignite discussion about differences in the past and present and changes in technology over the years.
