Originally located on the edge of the town, the Cemeteries today are a tranquil haven within bustling inner city East Perth.

We provide the opportunity to wander through the Cemeteries on a Sunday afternoon so you can reflect on love ones lost and appreciate the stories this place has to offer. You can also browse the extensive database of burials via the East Perth Cemeteries at Martellup website (https://eastperthcemeteries.com.au/) before your visit.

East Perth Cemeteries at Martellup is open every Sunday between 2.00 and 4.00 pm. Entry between this time is ticketed, and can be purchased online or at the place when you arrive. You will be greeted by volunteers managing the place on this day.

Plan you visit and book your tickets online
- National Trust members entry is free. A ticket booking is still required and proof of membership is required.
- Concession tickets are available at this place. Concession cards must be shown on arrival for proof of concession ticket entry.
- Companion Card holders entry is free. Please contact us via trust@ntwa.com.au or call 08 9321 6088 to arrange your visit and make a booking.
- Family tickets are for two adults and two children aged 5 to 17.

Group and education bookings

Personalised tours for groups of 10 or more are available. To arrange a group tour or education booking please make an enquiry through our webform.

Closures
Closed Christmas Day and on days with extreme weather conditions.

Extreme heat closures
East Perth Cemeteries will close if the Bureau of Meteorology forecast for East Perth is for 38 degrees or above. Your ticket will be cancelled and can be used on another day. Alternatively, we will issue you a refund for the purchase price.

Accessibility

Parking
Street parking outside of the Cemeteries is permitted, please refer to street signs. Restrictions may apply when major events in the area are scheduled.

Bus transport
You can access the place via the Red and Yellow CAT buses. They pass the Cemeteries frequently.

Refund policy
