Old Blythewood is a beautiful old farmhouse that sits on Bindjareb Noongar Country on a high bank overlooking the Murray River. 

The grounds are also home to the much-loved Jazz Picnic in the Gardens, which usually takes place in October.

Old Blythewood is open each Saturday and Sunday 12.30-3.30 pm plus Monday Public holidays. The house and grounds are open with guided tours available at 12.30 pm and 2.00 pm.

Please note: 

  • If you buy a member or concession ticket, you must show your proof of concession or membership card upon arrival
  • Family tickets are for two adults and two children aged 5 to 17.

Easter Sunday

Extreme heat closures

Old Blythewood will close if the Bureau of Meteorology forecast for Pinjarra is for 38 degrees or above. You will be able to use your tickets on another day or request a refund.

Accessibility

The National Trust is committed to providing access to all visitors to its places, however, low and narrow entrances to rooms in this historic house may prove difficult for wheelchair access. Refund policy

We do not provide refunds on tickets for a change of mind. If you need to reschedule your visit we are happy to do arrange this for you. Please contact trust@ntwa.com.au to arrange a new date.
